Each October, Passport Scholars sends application packets to youth agency staff and to high school guidance counselors in Hamilton County, TN. They nominate motivated and deserving female candidates in their sophomore year. There is no limit on the number of nominations. Upon being nominated, the student fills out an application that requires a short essay, teacher recommendation and high school transcript. The application is due in December and notification of finalists is in early January.
Students cannot apply directly to Passport Scholars.
