The College Access Center provides personal and confidential advising services to prospective and current college students and their families, such as:
Financial aid events where accountants and other financial professionals volunteer to help families file their income taxes and to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Workshops at various sites in the community to assist families regarding early awareness of college planning, financial aid services, and meeting other requirements to prepare for a postsecondary education
Assistance with searches for scholarships, including local scholarships
Assistance with interpreting and comparing financial aid packages offered by colleges and universities.
